About Cornucopia
Cornucopia isn’t meant to be a brutal server — but the world and its people can be. The ground can collapse beneath you, fire spreads quickly, lightning can ignite your home, and water obeys gravity alone. You’ll need to stay fed, hydrated, and mindful of the weather to survive. Many ruins are locked and reinforced, and no one is coming to protect your property, your health, or your pride. Learn the mods, use what they offer, and you’ll endure.
The world is vast and largely flat — a chain of wide continents cut by rivers and seas. The default spawn lies in the northern temperate zone, roughly midway between the equator and the polar ice caps, which are about 10–15 km away. Whether you travel by foot, glider, horse, or ship, distance rewards exploration. Newcomers should craft a walking stick early — it saves stamina and speeds your journey.
When you settle down, craft a bed to anchor your respawn. Keep it and your essentials inside a land claim for basic protection. As you advance, learn reinforcements and the locks & keys from the Thievery mod to secure what claims can’t. Even so, no defense is absolute — skilled malefactors and clockmakers can pick locks. Protect your keys, build cleverly, and rely on your allies — they’re your strongest defense.
Cornucopia runs on a measured rhythm: 20 in-game days per month, 48 real-minutes per day. The server opens Friday evenings in Europe and closes late Sunday night in California, ensuring no one can fast-forward the world while others are away.
Gameplay Philosophy
Cornucopia is a social experiment in survival and storytelling. It’s a roleplay server, but there are no scripts, no mandatory storylines, and no staff dictating how you should act. The world itself — and the players within it — shape the narrative.
Play who you want, how you want. Be a builder, a trader, a wanderer, a thief, or a scholar. The game’s mechanics are your law, and the world’s systems are your boundaries. Consequences come from players, not moderators.
Everything you own can be lost, every structure can be rebuilt, and every reputation can be earned or destroyed. Conflict is natural here, but so is cooperation. Communities that thrive will do so through trust, alliances, and shared purpose — not by decree.
Cornucopia rewards those who adapt, explore, and tell their own story in a world that doesn’t bend easily.

Rules of Cornucopia
If you break the few rules we have, the consequence is simple: a ban.
- No cheating or exploits. Don’t use hacks, dupes, or unfair advantages. Assume anything you build can be found — obscurity isn’t protection.
- No harassment or hate. Harassment isn’t tolerated. Hate speech or slurs — including homophobia, transphobia, racism, or ableism — are instant bans. I don’t actively monitor players, but if I’m sent clear proof (chat, books, signs, voice, or builds), I’ll make a judgment call.
- No real-world illegal activity. No CSAM, piracy links, or anything that violates real-world law.
-
Use claims & reinforcements responsibly. They’re for protecting your builds and traps — not for trapping others inside their own bases. Trapping players in the wild is fine; locking down another’s base with claims/reinforcements isn’t. Everyone can always escape with
/kill— but it costs your life and your carried items. - If it’s not forbidden above, it’s fair game. Use common sense, play in good faith, and respect the spirit of the server.
Mods
This server relies on a curated mod set for realism, security, and long-form play. A full list with downloads and notes will be posted here.

Tip: Learn your tools — many ruins are reinforced, locks/keys matter, and water/temperature systems are stricter than default.
